Admissions
In Bexley, the local authority makes decisions about admitting children to community schools in Reception. In-year admissions are made via the local authority and places offered by the school according to availability of spaces.

Nursery
- Parents are invited to apply for the places in our nursery for September 2025.
- If your child was born between 01/09/21 and 31/08/22. Applications must be made directly with Bexley Council school admissions
- We have provision for 26 part time morning placements offering 15 hours per week.
Reception
- If your child was born between 01/09/20 and 31/08/21 they are eligible to start Reception in September 2025.
- Parents are invited to apply for places in our Reception for September 2025 and are advised to consult the Bexley Primary Admissions 2025/26 for guidance using the above link.
- Belmont will admit 60 pupils into the two Reception classes each September.
- Applications for Reception places must be submitted to Bexley admissions.

Thursday 17th October – 10am - FULLY BOOKED
Wednesday 6th November – 1:30pm
Thursday 14th November – 10am & 1:30pm
The open events will last for approximately an hour and half and will include:
Presentation by Head Teacher
- Tour of the school including Early Years with a member of Senior Leadership Team
- Refreshments at the end of the session and a chance to meet pupils to find out more about Belmont from pupil perspective
- Opportunity to ask questions/speak to Senior Leadership Team 1:1, including SENCo if required.

Primary School Appeals Timetable 2025
Your application for a Nursery or Reception primary school place for September 2025 must be made via Bexley Admissions.
The deadline for Reception applications is 15th January 2025.
The deadline for Nursery applications is 6th April 2025.
