We enjoyed putting our Historian hats on this term by interrogating artegacts from the Anglo-Saxon era using Hall Place loan box.
JTA Trip to Bexley Civic Offices
This week our Junior Travel Ambassadors travelled to the Bexley Civic Offices and met with Councillor Diment who supports traffic, road safety and highway services within Bexley. He said that we were the first school to visit him!
Belmont Sports Teams Update
Our sports teams at Belmont have been really busy recently. We took part in a Bexley 5 a-side football competition, a Basketball competition where we won the 'Determination Award', and our Netball and Football teams played their last league games of the year. Our girls football team came 5th out of 24 schools which is a great achievement and our Sports captain Daisy-Rae was named player of the tournament for Belmont. Well done everyone!
Duracell's Big Battery Hunt 2024
We are delighted to participate in the Duracell’s Big Battery Hunt this year to help Belmont achieve the Green Flag award. This is an award given to schools who are working to achieve a high level of sustainability.
Our Eco committee have been counting all of the batteries that we have been collecting from our wonderful families and staff. It is a massive task and we thank everyone for their donations! We will keep you posted on our progress on the leader board!
